Rooter and Snuffle are very excited to be the FIRST ones to use the new Character studio where they can be interviewed, record jingles and become singing stars! Here is their new theme song, sent to Shari from the studio...

The Character Studio Dot Com

Rooter and Snuffle

Welcome to Cathedral Woods!

Here in a hollow tree live raccoon brothers, Rooter and Snuffle, with their Mom and Dad. They go to school, play with friends, and have lives filled with adventure and sometimes trouble. Join them as they skip rocks on the river, go ice fishing, and hike to Grandpa's house for Christmas dinner. In each story they learn about faith, friendship, sharing, and caring for others.

The Cast of Characters

Spooky........... Bully Bear..........Mrs. Quackers
Chatter Squirrel.......Stinky & Phew.......Slappy Beaver

Chatter Squirrel is a nervous, and sometimes busy, friend as he prepares for winter. Stinky, Phew, and Sirius are skunks and handy to have around in times of trouble. Slappy is a mischievous beaver who means well but is not always a good influence on Rooter and Snuffle. Spooky is an opposum who hangs by his tail, and plays dead when the going gets tough. Bully Bear is a cub who makes trouble just to get attention. Mrs. Quackers and her ducklings need rescuing from serious trouble. You will also meet Fluff and Fritter when you join Rooter, Snuffle, and their friends for an adventure filled good time among the Oaks and towering Redwood Trees in Cathedral Woods!

Hi Shari,
I saw your comment on the HSB Splash reading program and wanted to stop by and say "hi" to a fellow children's author.

Hey, I am SO impressed how you took a blog and gave it the feel of a website--for free. LOL Nice, nice job! I sure wish I could figure out how to do that kind of stuff on Blogspot. My blogspot account is set up for the sole purpose of being able to comment on other blogspot accounts. I have a website www.susankmarlow.com that I manage myself, but I've found websites to be pretty static. That's why I have a bunch of blogs on HSB. Like you, I have one devoted to the characters of my books, too. I think the blogspot set-up looks more professional than the HSB blogs we do ourselves.

Anyway, nice to meet you and your books look very fun!
